An on-line magazine that does not require a subscription. Has elementary reading level articles linked to fun activities. Appropriate for use in the classroom and good for pulling resources.

This could go in every section. A great guide for internet use in planning and teaching. Links galore, plus lots of how-to information.

Science 2000 Frames

Offers 5 categories of elementary science lesson plans. Well organized, good quality lessons.

A classic for looking up background information and pictures.

My absolute favorite web site. I aspire to be like Bill Nye. Great lessons and information.

A fantastic example of a school using technology well. Great selection of lesson plans.

Information about why people get dandruff and what types of bacteria live between our toes, and why we burp. . . .

The friendliest organization I have spoken to all year. Very willing to help out classrooms. Their web site contains useful information and links about waste and what to do about it.

An elementary oriented index of information. Also serves as a search engine and has lots of great activities and games.
